Film Review: Bohemian Rhapsody

Biographical Film, 2018

“Bohemian Rhapsody” is about Freddie Mercury, the lead singer of the rock band Queen. It tells the story of Freddie’s life from before he joins the band. The film is set in England and starts in 1970. The movie ends in 1985 in London at the original Wembley Stadium where Queen was participating in the Live Aid Concert.

I love the main actor Rami Malek, because he portrays accurately Freddie Mercury, both aesthetically and in his behaviour. I also like Ben Hardy who played Roger Taylor because he is one of my favourite actors and he’s convincing and passionate.

I think this is an ideal film for anyone who loves Queen, and not only: it is an exciting film shot wonderfully. I give Bohemian Rhapsody 5 stars.

A Must See!

I look forward to seeing this film. I have heard mixed reviews. Some absolutely loved it, others not so much. It’s always difficult to recreate a life on screen; particularly when it involves people who are still alive. We all see our personal stories in our own way!

I went to see this film two times because I love it.
It represents well Queen’s history and the succes that Freddy Mercury has had.
My favourite scene is the concert at the Wembley Stadium because it’s very realistic and spectacular.
    I recomend it.
